Leadership Transition

Pallett, with over two decades of experience in event management, steps into the role to lead Black Hat’s global expansion. “I’m grateful to step into this role and have the opportunity to join such an iconic brand,” Pallett said. She previously served as Executive Vice President, Europe and Middle East, at Money20/20, a leading FinTech event series, where she drove global expansions and multi-million-pound revenue growth.

Steve Wylie, who led Black Hat to become the cybersecurity industry’s most established event series, expressed confidence in Pallett’s leadership. “The Black Hat team is excited for the next chapter of our brand’s success,” Wylie stated.

Strategic Vision

Pallett will focus on scaling Black Hat’s global events, including Black Hat USA, Europe, and Asia, which attract over 40,000 attendees annually. Her leadership aims to enhance collaboration, networking, and discussion on critical cybersecurity topics across all career levels and disciplines. Black Hat’s 2025 events, such as Black Hat USA (August 2–7, Las Vegas), will continue to feature cutting-edge briefings and keynotes, like Microsoft’s session on countering cyber threats.

Industry Context

Black Hat, part of Informa PLC, is renowned for its in-depth cybersecurity content, with 62% of attendees citing it as their primary platform for professional development in 2025. Pallett’s experience in high-performance event cultures positions her to drive Black Hat’s mission forward, especially as cyber threats grow, with 73% of organizations reporting attacks in 2024.

Strategic Impact

Pallett’s appointment aligns with Black Hat’s goal to remain the cybersecurity industry’s leading platform. Her expertise will support the community’s needs amid rising threats, ensuring Black Hat continues to deliver impactful, content-driven events globally.
