Saviynt has introduced the industry’s first Identity Control Plane designed specifically for governing AI agents at enterprise scale. The new Saviynt Identity Security for AI solution provides organizations with complete visibility, lifecycle management, and runtime control over autonomous AI agents, addressing a major security gap that currently exposes 91% of enterprises to blind risk.

  • Saviynt launches the first enterprise-grade Identity Control Plane for AI agents
  • Platform delivers continuous discovery, lifecycle governance, and real-time runtime authorization for AI agents
  • Addresses critical security gap affecting 91% of enterprises running autonomous AI
  • Supports major AI environments including Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google Vertex AI, ServiceNow AI, and Salesforce Agentforce
  • Introduces three core pillars: Identity Security Posture Management for AI, Identity Lifecycle Management, and Agent Access Gateway
  • Enables secure scaling of AI agents that write code, execute transactions, and orchestrate business workflows

The rapid adoption of enterprise AI has created an urgent challenge: security infrastructure is struggling to match the speed and autonomy of AI agents. These agents operate at machine speed, make real-time decisions, and interact continuously with systems and data. Traditional identity models built for human users are no longer sufficient, leaving organizations without proper visibility or control once agents are deployed into production.

AI Agents Require a New Control Plane

Unlike human users, AI agents act autonomously and access systems continuously. Saviynt’s new capabilities were developed after two years of close collaboration with enterprises already running agents in production. The solution establishes a dedicated identity control plane that brings the same level of governance to AI agents as applied to human and non-human identities.

Core Capabilities of Saviynt Identity Security for AI

The platform discovers, registers, and monitors AI agents in real time across leading environments, including Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google Vertex AI, ServiceNow AI, and Salesforce Agentforce, with ongoing expansion to additional agent development ecosystems.

It delivers governance through three foundational pillars:

Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) for AI provides a continuous, unified view to discover all autonomous agents—authorized or shadow—and surfaces real-time risks and over-privileged access.

Identity Lifecycle Management ensures every AI agent has a designated owner and governs the complete lifecycle from registration to decommissioning.

Agent Access Gateway evaluates every agent interaction in real time, preventing unauthorized agent-to-agent or agent-to-application access before damage can occur.

Enterprise Validation and Real-World Impact

“As AI agents move from experimental use cases into core business operations, the traditional identity models we’ve relied on for decades are no longer enough,” said Gnana Thanikachalam, Global Head of IAM at Hertz. “At Hertz, technology drives our fleet and our customer experience, and we need governance that scales at that same velocity. Partnering with Saviynt has allowed us to move beyond static access toward a dynamic, agentic control plane. By treating AI agents with the same rigor as human identities – from continuous discovery to automated onboarding – we’re not just closing security gaps; we're enabling our teams to innovate with confidence.”

“Scaling autonomous agents requires governance that keeps pace with AI innovation,” said Jeyanth Jambunathan, Head of IAM at The Auto Club Group. “With Saviynt’s identity control plane, we gain real-time visibility and control over AI identities empowering secure innovation at enterprise scale.”

Saviynt developed its AI control plane in collaboration with design partners including Hertz, The Auto Club Group, and UKG. The platform integrates external risk signals from partners such as CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Wiz, and Cyera, delivering a comprehensive view of AI-related risk.

“This is our most significant release,” said Sachin Nayyar, CEO at Saviynt. “We have now introduced real-time access enforcement and access gateway to our world-class posture management, identity management, privilege access management, and fine-grained entitlement management, all working together at runtime and at AI speed. This makes Saviynt the only Identity Security company to provide an end-to-end stack of AI Identity capabilities working together as a single service.”

The solution supports the full spectrum of users—from pro-code developers to low-code and no-code business users—enabling organizations to safely accelerate AI deployment while maintaining strong security and compliance.
