  • Focus on quantum-safe security and cryptographic posture management.
  • Volanoski previously EVP & CRO at Q2, with roles at Microsoft and SAP.
  • Keyfactor expanded to 540+ employees across 12 countries.

Driving Growth Amid Security Market Inflection

The appointment comes after Keyfactor's strongest year on record, marked by sustained enterprise demand for solutions addressing quantum computing threats, agentic AI security, and evolving regulations. The company nearly doubled annual recurring revenue in less than two years, expanded globally to over 540 employees in 12 countries, and earned Great Place To Work certification in multiple regions.

Strategic acquisitions of InfoSec Global and CipherInsights have solidified Keyfactor's leadership in cryptographic posture management, providing unified visibility and control over cryptographic assets.

"We are at an inflection point in the security market," said Jordan Rackie, CEO of Keyfactor. "The convergence of quantum computing, agentic AI, and emerging regulatory requirements is fundamentally changing how enterprises must think about cryptography and digital trust. Keyfactor enters this moment from a position of strength. We've built a category-leading business and delivered the strongest year in our history. Bringing in a leader of Mike's caliber reflects our decision to get more aggressive — to scale faster and further separate ourselves from the market."

Volanoski's Leadership Experience and Vision

Volanoski brings over 30 years of senior leadership in enterprise technology, fintech, and cloud software. Most recently Executive Vice President and CRO at Q2, he managed global sales, marketing, customer success, revenue operations, and partnerships. Previous roles include senior positions at Microsoft, Market Logic Software, SAP, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup, where he led large global teams with full P&L responsibility.

"Keyfactor sits at the center of some of the most important technology shifts of our time," said Volanoski. "As enterprises confront the realities of quantum-safe security and seek to operationalize trust at scale, Keyfactor has a rare combination of deep cryptographic expertise, innovative technology, and a culture that genuinely prioritizes both customers and employees. I'm excited to join the team and help accelerate the company's mission while supporting customers through this next era of transformation."

As President & CRO, Volanoski will prioritize global footprint expansion, enterprise and partner relationship development, and go-to-market execution, with emphasis on post-quantum cryptography, agentic AI security, and PKI/certificate lifecycle management.

This leadership addition positions Keyfactor to capitalize on growing demand for scalable digital trust solutions in an era of rapid technological and regulatory change.
