NinjaOne®, a leading automated endpoint management platform, announced on August 19, 2025, that it has achieved Government Risk and Authorization Management Program (GovRAMP) Authorization at a Moderate Impact Level. This milestone reinforces NinjaOne’s commitment to providing secure, compliant solutions for over 1,400 State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) customers across the United States.

Quick Intel

  • NinjaOne Platform secures GovRAMP Authorization at Moderate Impact Level.

  • Supports 1,400+ SLED customers among 30,000+ global clients.

  • Enables compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI standards.

  • Automates endpoint management, reducing risks from unmanaged devices.

  • 54% of organizations report cyberattacks due to poorly managed endpoints.

  • Available through Carahsoft’s NASPO, TIPS, OMNIA, and E&I contracts.

Strengthening SLED Cybersecurity

GovRAMP, formerly StateRAMP, is a standardized cloud security framework ensuring robust protection for SLED organizations. NinjaOne’s authorization highlights its ability to deliver visibility, security, and control over endpoints, addressing challenges like sprawling IT environments and increasing cyber threats. “GovRAMP requires vendors to meet a rigorous set of compliance and security standards,” said Ben Perryman, Cybersecurity Division, City of Kansas City, Missouri. “NinjaOne has supported our efforts by making it easier to deploy policies and controls that align with standards like NIST, HIPAA, or PCI.”

Addressing Endpoint Security Gaps

With only 68% of devices typically managed by IT and 54% of organizations facing cyberattacks due to unmanaged endpoints, NinjaOne’s platform automates tasks like scripted deployments and software updates, enhancing efficiency. “SLED IT teams face a host of challenges due to their highly distributed nature,” said Aaron Kinworthy, VP of Public Sector at NinjaOne. “We are obsessed with customer success, which is why GovRAMP is an important initiative for our team.”

Partnership with Carahsoft

NinjaOne’s solutions are accessible through Carahsoft’s contracts, including NASPO ValuePoint #AR2472, TIPS #220105, OMNIA Partners #R240303, and E&I #EI00063~2021MA. “NinjaOne’s GovRAMP Authorization is a significant achievement,” said Craig P. Abod, Carahsoft President. “This enhances our partnership, enabling accessibility to cloud-first, automated endpoint management solutions for SLED organizations.”

Industry Context

NinjaOne’s GovRAMP success follows its FedRAMP “In Process” designation in May 2025, reflecting a broader commitment to public sector security. Competing platforms like Tanium and CrowdStrike also focus on endpoint management, but NinjaOne’s cloud-native platform and 30,000+ global customers position it as a leader for SLED environments.
