Zimbra has appointed Anthony Chadd as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing his extensive cybersecurity and SaaS sales leadership to accelerate the company’s global expansion, strengthen partner ecosystems, and capitalize on the rising demand for sovereign, data-residency-focused collaboration solutions in EMEA and APAC.
Zimbra continues to expand its position as the leading open-source email and collaboration platform with the appointment of Anthony Chadd as Chief Revenue Officer. Chadd’s proven expertise in scaling revenue operations, building high-performing teams, and developing global channel ecosystems will support Zimbra’s strategic focus on secure, sovereign collaboration solutions amid increasing regulatory fragmentation and data residency priorities.
"Anthony's proven track record in scaling high-performing teams and driving sustainable growth in complex security markets makes him the ideal leader to accelerate Zimbra's momentum," said Drake Harvey, CEO of Zimbra. "His expertise in building partner ecosystems and enterprise GTM strategies will be instrumental as we serve the growing demand for data-sovereign email solutions."
Chadd brings deep experience from senior leadership roles in cybersecurity and infrastructure. Most recently as Chief Revenue Officer at Vercara, he implemented a comprehensive global channel partner program that fueled significant business expansion. Previously at Neustar, he managed worldwide sales operations and built scalable revenue functions spanning account management, sales engineering, and enablement across DNS management and security solutions.
"Zimbra's commitment to open standards, data sovereignty, and security resonates strongly with enterprises navigating today's threat landscape," said Chadd. "I'm excited to join a mission-driven team and help organizations worldwide achieve secure, flexible collaboration on their terms."
With Gartner projecting the sovereign cloud market to reach $80 billion by 2026, organizations in EMEA and APAC increasingly require transparent, compliant platforms that guarantee control over data location. Zimbra’s open-core model, combined with flexible deployment options—cloud, on-premises, and hybrid—positions the platform to meet these evolving demands while delivering mission-critical email, calendar, file sharing, task management, chat, and collaborative editing capabilities.
Zimbra currently powers hundreds of millions of mailboxes in more than 127 countries through its extensive network of service providers and channel partners, serving governments, financial institutions, universities, enterprises, and service providers that rely on secure, efficient, and compliant communication tools.
This leadership addition strengthens Zimbra’s ability to scale globally and deliver on the growing need for sovereign, secure collaboration in a fragmented regulatory environment.
