Cyabra Strategy Ltd. has launched an advanced AI-powered deepfake detection tool to combat the rising threat of AI-generated synthetic media, protecting brands and governments from disinformation campaigns.
Cyabra’s tool detects manipulated images and videos in seconds.
Uses PixelProof for images and MotionProof for videos.
Integrates with Cyabra’s broader disinformation detection platform.
Addresses threats to brand reputation and public safety.
Responds to incidents like the $25M Hong Kong deepfake scam.
Supports 24/7 monitoring to counter complex influence campaigns.
Announced on July 17, 2025, Cyabra’s deepfake detection tool leverages two proprietary AI models: PixelProof, which uses spatio-frequency analysis to detect pixel inconsistencies in images, and MotionProof, which identifies unnatural movement patterns and lip-sync errors in videos. Both deliver results with confidence scores and visual heatmap explanations, enabling rapid verification of content authenticity. Dan Brahmy, CEO and Co-founder of Cyabra, stated: “Our detection tool acts as a digital magnifying glass, revealing the invisible fingerprints of even the most convincing deepfakes.”
The tool responds to growing concerns about AI-generated media, highlighted by incidents like a 2024 Hong Kong scam where a finance worker was deceived by deepfake participants in a Zoom meeting, resulting in a $25 million loss. Fabricated videos of public figures, such as a fake arrest of U.S. President Donald Trump and a false surrender by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, have also misled audiences. The World Economic Forum has warned of the need for vigilance against such threats.
Unlike standalone solutions, Cyabra’s tool integrates with its comprehensive disinformation detection platform, combining deepfake detection with authenticity analysis, narrative tracking, and 24/7 monitoring. This approach addresses the complexity of influence campaigns that pair deepfakes with fake social media profiles and bot networks, providing early-warning signals for governments and corporations.
Cyabra’s launch aligns with its business combination agreement with Trailblazer Merger Corporation I, enhancing its position in the AI-driven cybersecurity market. The tool’s capabilities are critical for brand reputation management, as malicious actors increasingly use deepfakes to fabricate corporate scandals or executive remarks, impacting stock prices and public trust.
Cyabra’s deepfake detection tool empowers organizations to safeguard discourse and maintain trust in an era of escalating digital manipulation.
