Drata, a leader in AI-native Trust Management, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to introduce a test integration in AWS Marketplace, announced on June 11, 2025, in San Diego. This collaboration enables Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to embed Drata-powered Trust Centers into their AWS Marketplace listings, providing real-time security and compliance data to buyers. The initiative streamlines procurement by enhancing transparency and reducing vendor risk evaluation time.

Quick Intel

  • Drata and AWS launch Trust Center test integration in AWS Marketplace.

  • ISVs display real-time security and compliance via Drata-powered Trust Centers.

  • Over 50 Drata customers, like Obsidian Security, enhance transparency in listings.

  • Initiative speeds up procurement by reducing security review friction.

  • Drata’s AI-native platform shares GRC data directly at the point of sale.

  • First GRC provider to participate in this AWS Marketplace pilot program.

Streamlining Security Reviews in AWS Marketplace

The pilot program addresses the growing need for organizations to validate vendor security and compliance in cloud-based solutions. By integrating Drata’s AI-native Trust Management platform, ISVs can showcase Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) data, framework adherence, and security documentation directly within their AWS Marketplace listings. This transparency empowers buyers to assess vendor risk quickly, reducing procurement delays and fostering trust.

Enhanced Transparency for AWS Marketplace Sellers

Over 50 Drata customers, including Abnormal AI, Obsidian Security, Tealium, and Sigma Computing, have adopted this integration, embedding their Trust Centers into AWS Marketplace listings. This provides buyers with direct access to verified compliance data, streamlining security reviews. “As a cloud-first organization, integrating Obsidian Security’s Trust Center directly into our AWS Marketplace listing empowers us to proactively showcase our security posture and compliance certifications where buyers are already making decisions,” said Alfredo Hickman, CISO, Obsidian Security.

Pioneering Trust at the Point of Sale

Drata’s collaboration with AWS marks it as the first GRC provider in this AWS Marketplace test, setting a new standard for trust in software procurement. “Trust is the foundation of every successful business relationship, and we’re proud to work alongside AWS to make trust more visible and accessible across the software ecosystem,” said Kevin Kriebel, SVP of Business Development at Drata. The initiative aligns with the increasing demand for real-time trust signals in enterprise tech stacks.

Driving Efficiency in Cloud Software Procurement

By embedding Trust Centers, the program reduces the time and effort required for security assessments, enabling faster decision-making for buyers. Drata’s platform automates GRC processes, ensuring ISVs maintain up-to-date compliance data, which is critical for industries with stringent regulatory requirements. This collaboration strengthens the AWS Marketplace ecosystem, making it easier for organizations to adopt secure, compliant cloud solutions.

This partnership between Drata and AWS redefines trust management in cloud software procurement, offering a transparent, efficient, and secure buying experience for enterprises worldwide.
