CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits have formed a long-term strategic partnership to deliver the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon platform on STACKIT, Schwarz Digits’ EU-based sovereign cloud infrastructure, enabling European organizations to secure AI workloads with full data sovereignty and compliance.
CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits are collaborating to bring the CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform directly to STACKIT, the sovereign cloud infrastructure operated by Schwarz Digits within the European Union. This move enables enterprises and public institutions to deploy advanced, AI-native security while ensuring all data remains under European control and complies with strict regional regulations.
As European organizations face increasing pressure from regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and NIS2 Directive—which heighten executive accountability and demand robust protection for critical infrastructure—many seek sovereign solutions that avoid routing sensitive data outside EU jurisdictions. The Falcon platform, now natively integrated into STACKIT’s GDPR-compliant environment, meets these requirements by processing telemetry and detections entirely within European data centers.
“Every organization in Europe is asking the same question: how do we adopt AI at scale without compromising data sovereignty or security,” said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. “Making the Falcon platform available on STACKIT will enable customers to deploy AI-native protection on EU-owned and operated infrastructure while maintaining the performance, visibility, and efficacy they expect from CrowdStrike.”
Through this integration, Schwarz Digits expands access to globally recognized cybersecurity capabilities for regulated industries and critical infrastructure operators. The Falcon platform provides unified visibility and real-time threat intelligence across endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, and exposure management, all powered by AI-driven detection and automated response.
The availability of Falcon on STACKIT’s cloud marketplace allows customers in highly regulated sectors to access world-class security without compromising data residency. Telemetry processing remains localized in EU data centers, aligning with GDPR, the EU Cyber Resilience Act, national standards, and broader requirements for operational autonomy in the AI era.
“Digital sovereignty is not a theoretical concept; it is foundational to European competitiveness in the AI era,” said Rolf Schumann, Co-CEO of Schwarz Digits. “Bringing a premium global technology standard in cybersecurity to our sovereign stack marks an important milestone for STACKIT and the European market. We are empowering organizations to strengthen their digital independence – helping ensure that the data driving their AI innovations remains under their control. This is the ‘Freedom of Choice’ our customers demand and the strategic resilience Europe needs to compete.”
“By integrating CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform directly into our EU-operated STACKIT infrastructure, we are helping reduce the trade-off between world-class performance and strict data residency,” said Christian Müller, Co-CEO of Schwarz Digits. “This partnership demonstrates our commitment to IT efficiency: we provide an AI-native security layer designed to protect complex workloads while minimizing the operational overhead of routing telemetry across borders. For our customers, this means advanced protection aligned with speed and technical interoperability requirements.”
The partnership will first introduce sovereign solutions including the Seraphic secure enterprise browser and a native, AI-based next-generation SIEM. This strengthens STACKIT’s security offerings while expanding CrowdStrike’s presence in Europe’s sovereign cloud ecosystem.
As part of the agreement, companies within the Schwarz Group will consolidate their cybersecurity operations on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, underscoring confidence in the solution for large-scale, regulated environments.
This strategic alliance positions European organizations to adopt cutting-edge AI-native cybersecurity with full sovereignty, supporting secure innovation while meeting stringent compliance demands in an evolving threat landscape.
