This strategic move is supported by new partnerships with government resellers and additional deployment options for federal agencies. The expansion comes as government AI use cases are rapidly scaling, creating an urgent need for secure and reliable solutions that can govern AI agents in sensitive environments. To lead this effort, Zenity has hired industry veteran Seth Nylund as its general manager of public sector.
Zenity has officially expanded into the public sector to help government agencies secure their AI agents.
The move is supported by new strategic partnerships with government resellers.
Zenity has hired Seth Nylund, a veteran with over two decades of federal leadership, to head its public sector growth.
Federal AI use cases more than doubled from 571 in 2023 to 1,110 in 2024, highlighting the need for secure solutions.
Zenity’s platform enables agencies to discover, monitor, and enforce secure policies aligned with NIST, OWASP, and MITRE standards.
The expansion is a strategic milestone in Zenity’s mission to provide scalable and compliant AI governance.
As government agencies increase their reliance on AI agents to improve efficiency and public services, the need for secure, transparent, and resilient governance has become critical. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported that federal AI use cases more than doubled in one year, underscoring the urgency for a secure adoption strategy. Zenity’s platform is designed to meet this demand head-on. As the new general manager of public sector, Seth Nylund, stated, “AI agents are becoming integral to government operations, but their adoption must be governed with transparency, control, and resilience. Zenity is uniquely positioned to help agencies secure these systems while meeting mission-critical compliance and operational goals.”
The Zenity platform provides government organizations with a comprehensive solution for managing AI agent risk. It enables agencies to discover and monitor agents across various environments, enforce secure-by-design policies aligned with federal standards, detect anomalies, and maintain audit-ready visibility. This proactive, end-to-end approach is essential for ensuring that AI is deployed securely and in line with mission objectives. Ben Kliger, CEO and co-founder of Zenity, added, “Agencies need proactive governance, runtime enforcement, and resilient architectures to ensure AI is deployed securely and aligned with mission-critical objectives. We are proud to support their initiatives to responsibly roll out AI agents across their organizations.”
Zenity is the first security and governance platform purpose-built for AI agents - spanning SaaS, home grown platforms (Cloud), and end-user devices (Endpoint). Trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises, Zenity helps security teams confidently adopt AI by delivering defense in depth with full-lifecycle coverage: from agent discovery and posture management to real-time detection, inline prevention, and response.
