With over a decade of experience in fintech, SaaS, blockchain, and infrastructure, Freeman has a proven track record of building security programs. Most recently, he served as Head of Security at Patreon, leading initiatives in secure-by-default engineering and compliance. Previously, he was VP of Security and Reliability at Blockdaemon and Director of Security at BlockFi, where he reduced bugs, breach risks, and supply chain vulnerabilities. “Security needs to move at the pace of innovation, not behind it,” said Freeman. “Agentic AI requires entirely new security models, and my goal is to set a new standard for scaling what secure-by-default looks like in practice.”
