Brandt Urban: Chief Business Development Officer

Brandt Urban has been promoted to CBDO, reporting directly to CEO Anand Eswaran. He will lead corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy. Previously serving as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Cloud Sales at Veeam, Brandt drove significant cloud revenue growth and shaped the company’s global cloud strategy. His prior roles at Microsoft, Genesys, RingCentral, and HPE bring deep expertise in strategic alliances and execution, positioning him to expand Veeam’s value proposition through targeted ventures and acquisitions.

Tony Colon: Chief Customer Officer

Tony Colon assumes the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer, reporting to CRO John Jester. With over 20 years leading global customer organizations at ServiceNow, Cisco, and Salesforce, Tony will own the end-to-end customer journey—from onboarding to renewal—ensuring seamless experiences and maximizing satisfaction, retention, and growth. He will oversee renewals, customer success, professional services, and technical support, transforming these functions into drivers of long-term value and loyalty.

Michael Rau: Vice President of Worldwide Partners

Michael Rau joins as Vice President of Worldwide Partners, also reporting to CRO John Jester and serving on the Worldwide Sales Leadership team. Michael will lead Veeam’s global partner ecosystem, developing consistent programs, incentives, and solutions across distribution, resell, SaaS, services, and strategic alliances. He will manage key partnerships with HPE, Lenovo, Pure Storage, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, TCS, and Kyndryl. With nearly a decade at F5 and senior experience at Cisco, Michael’s technical and partnership expertise will further differentiate Veeam’s offerings and unlock greater partner value.
