Before joining VC3, McAndrew served as Chief Executive Officer of Coalfire, where he spent more than two decades helping transform the organization from a startup into one of the world's leading independent cybersecurity firms with over 1,200 employees globally. He also served for 25 years in the U.S. Navy, focusing on cybersecurity, space, unmanned systems, and surface warfare, bringing significant operational and leadership experience to his new role.
As CEO, McAndrew will oversee VC3's continued expansion across managed IT services, cybersecurity, AI solutions, and compliance offerings. His experience working with government agencies, Fortune 100 companies, and highly regulated sectors closely aligns with VC3's focus on supporting local governments, defense organizations requiring CMMC compliance, healthcare providers, and other compliance-driven enterprises.
