Simbian Expands AI-Powered Security Operations

Simbian has announced the launch of its AI Threat Hunt Agent, the latest addition to its Self-Improving SecOps platform. The autonomous solution is designed to proactively search enterprise environments for threats that may have evaded earlier detection by security teams or automated defenses.

Unlike conventional threat hunting, the AI Threat Hunt Agent independently develops investigative hypotheses, validates suspicious activity, and analyzes large volumes of historical security data without relying on predefined templates.

Completing the AI SecOps Lifecycle

The new Threat Hunt Agent becomes the third core component of Simbian's AI-powered security platform.

The company's AI SOC Agent focuses on monitoring and responding to active security incidents in real time, while the AI Pentest Agent identifies vulnerabilities from an attacker's perspective before they can be exploited. The newly launched Threat Hunt Agent completes the security lifecycle by identifying threats that remained undetected after initial attacks.

"Every security leader lives with one question: what did we miss?" said Huy Ly, Head of Global IT Security at Monolithic Power Systems. "The Threat Hunt Agent actually goes and answers it - hunting across a year of data spanning tools no single analyst could cover. And every hunt makes our detections better. That is what self-improving security operations looks like."

AI Threat Hunting Across Enterprise Security Platforms

Simbian's Threat Hunt Agent combines AI-generated investigative hypotheses with business context, threat intelligence, penetration testing insights, and previous security investigations.

The platform can analyze data across Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms, cloud infrastructure, data lakes, and MCP servers. By reviewing months or even years of historical activity, the AI agent helps security teams uncover hidden threats that manual investigations might overlook.

Continuous Learning Improves Threat Detection

According to Simbian, findings from the Threat Hunt Agent are integrated with outputs from the AI SOC Agent and AI Pentest Agent to continuously strengthen detection engineering.

Threats identified during hunts automatically contribute to new detection rules, enabling future attacks using similar techniques to be identified more quickly.

"Threats from the past, present, or future - Simbian has you covered!" said Ambuj Kumar, Simbian co-founder and CEO. "Today, we complete the SecOps loop: hunting down the threats that slipped past us, stopping the ones underway, and shutting the door on the ones yet to come."

With the launch of the AI Threat Hunt Agent, Simbian expands its vision of autonomous cybersecurity by creating a continuously improving security operations platform. The integration of AI-driven threat hunting, real-time detection, and proactive penetration testing aims to help organizations strengthen cyber resilience while reducing manual workloads for security teams.
