SentinelOne, a leader in AI-native cybersecurity, announced on September 8, 2025, its intent to acquire Observo AI, a pioneering data streaming platform for AI-native telemetry pipeline management. This acquisition will enhance SentinelOne’s AI Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and data offerings, which contributed significantly to Q2 FY26 bookings, driving a new era of open, intelligent, and autonomous security operations.
Security operations teams face rising costs, complexity, and delays due to increasing data volumes and legacy systems ill-equipped for modern AI-driven threats. Observo AI’s real-time telemetry pipeline ingests, enriches, summarizes, and routes data before it reaches SIEM or data lakes, reducing costs, improving detection, and accelerating response. “Security is a data problem, and legacy pipelines weren’t built for today’s attack surface,” said Tomer Weingarten, CEO of SentinelOne. “Observo AI is miles ahead, delivering an open, intelligent architecture for autonomous security.”
RithumIQ, unlike experimental AI tools, is a proven, scalable solution embedded in critical commerce workflows. “AI is reshaping commerce, not just assisting shoppers but becoming the shopper,” said Ali Irturk, PhD, Chief Technology Officer at Rithum. “RithumIQ ensures products are visible and recommended in AI-driven channels with confidence.” The engine learns, adapts, and self-heals operations, addressing retail complexity with precision.
“Observo AI was born to tackle data problems for security and DevOps teams,” said Gurjeet Arora, CEO of Observo AI. “Joining SentinelOne is a huge win, enabling us to define the future of autonomous security.”
The acquisition builds on SentinelOne’s Singularity Platform, enhancing its hyperscale data infrastructure with Observo’s intelligent pipeline. This enables faster insights, lower costs, and agentic AI workflows, where autonomous agents leverage enriched data for human-level reasoning at machine speed. With a market cap of $6.25 billion and 25.39% year-over-year revenue growth, SentinelOne is well-positioned for this strategic move (see finance card above).
The deal, a combination of cash and stock, is expected to close in SentinelOne’s Q3 FY26, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. Further integrations with platforms like Elastic and Splunk will enhance its ecosystem compatibility.
