Sectigo, a global leader in automated Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and digital certificates, has announced the appointment of Clint Maddox as President, Global Field Operations. In this role, Maddox will lead Sectigo's global revenue and go-to-market organization—spanning sales, marketing, and channel operations—further accelerating the company's growth and expanding its worldwide footprint as enterprises prepare for shorter certificate lifecycles and the shift toward post-quantum cryptography.
Sectigo appointed Clint Maddox as President of Global Field Operations to lead global revenue and go-to-market strategy.
Maddox brings nearly 30 years of experience, including roles as CRO at KX and ConnectWise, and senior leadership at Broadcom and CA Technologies.
The appointment comes after a record-breaking year for Sectigo, including 20%+ organic ARR growth and the acquisition of the Entrust public certificate business.
Sectigo doubled its enterprise channel business (100% YoY growth) and launched Sectigo Certificates as a Service (CaaS).
The company launched Sectigo PQC Labs, the industry's first sandbox built with NIST's full PQC standards.
G2 named Sectigo the unrivaled Leader in both CLM and SSL/TLS categories for 11 consecutive quarters.
Maddox joins Sectigo at a pivotal moment following a record-breaking year for the company. The appointment comes as Sectigo capitalizes on surging demand for automated CLM driven by rapidly shortening certificate lifespans and the industry's transition to quantum-safe cryptography. Digital trust is entering a new era defined by automation and the rise of post-quantum cryptography, and organizations need partners who can see around corners and execute at scale.
"Digital trust is entering a new era, one defined by automation and the rise of post‑quantum cryptography," said Kevin Weiss, CEO at Sectigo. "The pace of change is accelerating, and organizations need partners who can see around corners and execute at scale. Sectigo is building for that future. We've delivered the strongest year in our history, expanded globally, and advanced automated CLM in ways that are fundamentally reshaping how enterprises manage certificates, identity, and cryptography. Clint's experience transforming and scaling global revenue organizations will help us move even faster—unlocking new opportunities for our customers and strengthening the digital trust foundation the next decade will depend on."
Over the past year, Sectigo has achieved significant milestones, including achieving organic ARR growth of over 20% YoY, acquiring the Entrust public certificate business and completing the largest certificate migration in industry history, and doubling its enterprise channel and partner business with 100% YoY growth. The company launched Sectigo Certificates as a Service (CaaS), transforming how partners manage and monetize digital certificates, and became the first CLM available on the Pax8 Marketplace, delivering scalable certificate management to MSPs worldwide.
Sectigo also launched Sectigo PQC Labs, the industry's first sandbox built with NIST's full PQC standards, expanded executive leadership in APAC to meet growing regional demand, and earned G2 recognition as the unrivaled Leader in both CLM and SSL/TLS categories, extending an 11-quarter leadership streak. The company also earned industry awards including the 2025 Cybersecurity Excellence Award for CLM and the Global InfoSec Awards Trailblazing CLM Award at RSAC 2025.
Maddox brings nearly 30 years of experience leading global enterprise software organizations through high growth and transformation. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at KX, where he led global sales and go-to-market strategy, as well as customer success and consulting. Previously, as Chief Revenue Officer at ConnectWise, he scaled worldwide sales and partner ecosystems and launched new cybersecurity initiatives. He held prior senior leadership roles at Broadcom and CA Technologies, overseeing global partner strategy and strategic alliances.
"Sectigo has built a rare combination of scale, innovation, and trust which is positioning the company at the center of the most consequential shifts in digital trust," said Maddox. "As organizations navigate shorter certificate lifespans, automation at scale, and post-quantum readiness, Sectigo is uniquely positioned to lead. I'm excited to build on this momentum, strengthen our global partnerships, and accelerate growth in the years ahead."
In his new role, Maddox will expand Sectigo's presence in priority markets, strengthen and scale the partner ecosystem, and unify go-to-market execution to meet rising enterprise demands for automation, visibility, and compliance. Known for building high-performance, customer-centric teams, he brings a disciplined, purpose-driven approach aligned with Sectigo's mission to secure the digital economy at scale.
