Saviynt, the global leader in AI-based identity security and governance solutions, has unveiled its new 62,000 sq. ft. office in Bengaluru, set to house over 650 employees and serve as the company's largest global innovation hub, focusing on advancing AI-driven research and development amid India's booming digital economy and regulatory shifts.
Saviynt's Bengaluru expansion underscores its dedication to elevating India's role in global cybersecurity, coinciding with the nation's digital surge. As cloud and AI adoption accelerates, the hub will spearhead advancements in identity governance, embedding agentic AI into the Identity Cloud platform to manage the proliferation of non-human identities—now outnumbering human users—and tackle emerging compliance demands. This facility builds on Bengaluru teams' contributions to flagship products like ISPM, Intelligence, and AI security, which protect enterprises worldwide. The move aligns with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, assented on August 11, 2023, and whose draft rules were released for consultation in 2025, elevating identity access to board-level imperatives. India's IAM market, valued at USD 184.8 million in 2023, is forecasted to hit USD 583.9 million by 2030 at a 17.9% CAGR, per Grand View Research.
The hub directly bolsters the IndiaAI Mission, launched on March 7, 2024, by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to democratize AI, address local challenges, and spur economic opportunities through enhanced computing access, data quality, and industry collaboration. By fostering a resilient digital infrastructure, Saviynt contributes to these goals, exporting innovations while tailoring solutions for Indian enterprises. Highlighting the significance of the hub, Paul Zolfaghari, president of Saviynt, said: “India is not just our largest international office, it is our global engine of innovation. With this new hub, we are not only expanding our footprint but also shaping the future of identity security by combining India’s deep talent pool with AI-driven product innovation. From Bengaluru, our teams are building solutions that protect Fortune 500 enterprises worldwide.”
Beyond R&D, the Bengaluru center anchors Saviynt's talent initiatives, including expanded campus placements, partnerships with premier universities, and the Saviynt University program offering free identity security courses to nurture future leaders. Nitin Varma, SVP and managing director, India & SAARC, Saviynt, added: “India is not just where we build, it’s where we lead from. Our Bengaluru Center powers global identity innovation, customer delivery, and business operations at scale. As Saviynt’s AI Center of Excellence for identity security, it brings world-class products closer to Indian enterprises while exporting innovation worldwide. Equally important, we are investing in India’s talent ecosystem, through partnerships with premier colleges and the Saviynt University program, ensuring India becomes the global hub for the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.”
