SailPoint has announced major advancements to its AI-powered SailPoint Platform, introducing an adaptive identity security framework to address the evolving challenges of modern enterprises. These updates focus on real-time governance, comprehensive protection for human and non-human identities, and integrated threat management in dynamic cloud and AI environments.
Traditional identity governance relies on periodic, manual reviews that struggle to keep pace with rapid cloud adoption, the proliferation of AI and machine identities, and sophisticated cyber threats. SailPoint’s new adaptive approach replaces static processes with continuous, automated governance that detects and remediates risks in real time.

The Harbor Pilot suite introduces a conversational AI agent that simplifies access requests through guided, natural-language interactions, reducing complexity for users and administrators.
Advancements in Observability & Insights provide direct privilege visibility within the Identity Graph, identity comparisons, and operational intelligence. Integration with Data Access Security visualizes data access pathways, enriches context, and improves sensitive data mapping and exposure management.
Upcoming modernization efforts include a high-performance Access Certification engine and comprehensive Separation of Duties overhaul, both slated for the second half of 2026.
