Pentera has become the first company in the adversarial exposure validation (AEV) market to surpass $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), marking Centaur status. This achievement highlights a transformative year featuring strategic acquisitions, the launch of Pentera Resolve and Pentera Offensive Security Services, and advancements in AI-powered security validation capabilities.
Following its $60 million Series D funding round earlier in 2025, Pentera executed two strategic acquisitions that broadened its platform. These moves enabled the introduction of Pentera Resolve, which extends adversarial validation by automating remediation. The solution consolidates findings, adds contextual enrichment, and initiates prioritized fixes via extensive native integrations, ensuring complete tracking and revalidation within the Pentera ecosystem.
Additionally, Pentera Offensive Security Services provides expert red team operations focused on validating complex environments, including AI model interfaces, authentication mechanisms, and system integrations in high-stakes applications.
"Becoming the first adversarial testing company to surpass $100 million in ARR is the result of focus, commitment and a great product-market fit," said Amitai Ratzon, CEO of Pentera. "More than 1,200 enterprises in over 60 countries rely on Pentera to continuously validate the security of their environments, from core infrastructure and cloud services to business applications and AI platforms. Customers are running thousands of automated tests per quarter, proving resilience and accelerating time to remediation with no added headcount."
Throughout 2025, Pentera enhanced its platform with native AI innovations, such as AI-powered reporting to identify posture trends and prioritize remediation. The company also rolled out AI-based Web Attack Testing, incorporating adaptive payload generation, PII-aware chaining, and system-aware logic to simulate sophisticated AI-assisted threats. Combined with its offensive services, this approach addresses AI security comprehensively: testing AI systems, optimizing validation with AI, and defending against AI-driven attacks.
To fuel expansion, Pentera invested heavily in customer success by appointing Bart Hammond as Chief Customer Officer to oversee global operations and regional support. The company opened new offices in Colorado, Madrid, and Tel Aviv, while growing its US team by over 40%. Pentera also became the first AEV vendor to earn ISO/IEC 42001 certification for AI management systems and was recognized as a Leader in the 2025 QKS SPARK Matrix for Exposure Management.
Pentera's milestone underscores its leadership in enabling Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), delivering automated security validation that reduces risks efficiently across diverse enterprise environments.
