The appointment of Avesta Hojjati as CTO brings deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and distributed systems to Netwrix. At SecurityScorecard, Hojjati was instrumental in taking a new platform from concept to production in less than a year. His background spans both offensive and defensive security, with previous leadership roles at DigiCert, Symantec, and Yahoo. This technical depth is expected to drive the evolution of the Netwrix 1Secure SaaS platform as it addresses the hybrid and AI-driven environments modern organizations operate within.
"With AI fueling both external attackers and data leakage, our customers are confronted by security challenges that are more complex than ever — more identities, more data, more risk," said Grady Summers, CEO at Netwrix. "We're bringing in leaders across engineering and channel to accelerate innovation and help partners improve customers' security posture and AI governance."
Marcin Gierlak’s role as VP of Engineering and Kraków Site Leader reinforces Netwrix’s commitment to its European engineering hub. Gierlak previously led machine learning and AI research at Napster and held engineering roles at IBM and HID Global. On the commercial side, Natalie Tomlin will leverage her experience from Trellix, McAfee, and Palo Alto Networks to expand the company’s partner network. Her focus will be on scaling growth through MSPs and major cloud providers like AWS and Azure, strengthening the company's market presence in North America.
