NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC. (NASDAQ: NTCT), a leader in observability, AIOps, cybersecurity, and DDoS protection, has advanced AI-driven network operations through its participation in TM Forum’s NeuroNOC Catalyst project at DTW Ignite 2025. This initiative, which set records for participation from communication service providers (CSPs) across numerous countries, showcased how AI agents and high-quality data enable self-healing telecom networks.

Quick Intel

  • NETSCOUT’s Omnis AI reduces manual troubleshooting by 80%.

  • Achieves up to 50% lower operational costs for CSPs.

  • Utilizes high-fidelity data to enhance AI-driven fault detection.

  • Reduces data tokenization by 80% with AWS Bedrock integration.

  • Collaborates with AWS, Accenture, and carriers like BT Group.

  • Supports 5G SA RAN and Packet Core with deep packet inspection.

Pioneering Self-Healing Networks

The NeuroNOC Catalyst project, developed with partners like Amazon Web Services, Accenture, Symphonica, and Sand Technologies, and championed by carriers such as BT Group, Telecom Argentina, and Safaricom, demonstrated AI’s potential to transform telecom operations. NETSCOUT’s Omnis AI Insights Solution, comprising Omnis AI Sensor and Omnis AI Streamer, delivered high-fidelity telemetry for 5G Standalone Radio Access Network (SA RAN) and Packet Core, enabling rapid fault detection and resolution.

Omnis AI: Powering Intelligent Operations

NETSCOUT’s Omnis AI Sensor leverages deep packet inspection for end-to-end network visibility, while Omnis AI Streamer provides advanced analytics via an open API-driven dataset. In simulated scenarios, the solution identified subscriber registration issues, pinpointed root causes using a curated large language model, and executed remediation with minimal manual effort. This approach reduced data tokenization by 80% with AWS Bedrock, enhancing efficiency.

Significant Cost and Efficiency Gains

The project validated the critical role of high-quality curated data in AI-driven solutions. “Accurate, real-time curated data is the foundation of intelligent network operations,” said Richard Fulwiler, Senior Director, Product Management at NETSCOUT. “While fully autonomous networks are still in their early stages, this project shows the powerful potential of AI agents – armed with the right data in real-time – to support faster and more accurate resolution of network issues.” The initiative achieved an 80% reduction in manual troubleshooting and up to 50% lower operational costs for CSPs.

Market Impact and Future Potential

With the self-healing networks market projected to reach $5.08 billion by 2030, NETSCOUT’s innovations position it to capture significant market share. Its stock (NASDAQ: NTCT) closed at $22.28 on July 11, 2025, reflecting a 1.02% decrease from the previous day’s close of $22.51, but its leadership in AI-driven telecom solutions signals strong growth potential. The integration with AWS Bedrock ensures scalability, aligning with the growing demand for 5G/6G and IoT-driven networks.

NETSCOUT’s contributions to the NeuroNOC Catalyst project underscore its leadership in AI-driven network operations. By delivering cost savings, efficiency gains, and scalable solutions, NETSCOUT is paving the way for self-healing networks that enhance telecom reliability and performance.
