Gartner has announced its Security & Risk Management Summit 2026, scheduled to take place June 1-3, 2026 in National Harbor, Maryland. In an environment characterized by an expanding threat landscape, AI, tariffs, global instability and regulations, the cybersecurity community must gain and share insights faster. Security leaders will discuss how AI, leadership, cloud security and more will help address organizations’ mission-critical challenges, helping them become smarter, faster and stronger.
Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit will be held June 1-3, 2026 in National Harbor, MD.
The event will feature 62 Gartner experts and more than 110 research-driven sessions.
Key topics include AI, cybersecurity leadership, cyber risk and resilience, infrastructure and cloud security, and identity access management.
Opening keynote “Seize the Moment” will be delivered by Leigh McMullen, Distinguished VP Analyst at Gartner.
Guest keynote speakers include chef and humanitarian José Andrés and humor expert Naomi Bagdonas.
The summit is part of a global series with additional events in Tokyo, Sao Paulo, and London.
The summit will bring together CISOs and cybersecurity leaders to discuss how they can adapt their cybersecurity strategies for AI. The conference agenda features five comprehensive tracks and five spotlight tracks that dive deep into key topics including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity leadership and innovation, cyber risk and resilience, infrastructure and cloud security, application and data security, cybersecurity operations and response, evaluating and negotiating with technology providers, identity and access management, navigating the volatile environment, privacy, government, new to role CISOs, and technical insights for security professionals.
The Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit will feature several notable keynotes. The Gartner Opening Keynote, “Seize the Moment,” will be delivered by Leigh McMullen, Distinguished VP Analyst at Gartner. Another Gartner Keynote, “The Future of Cyber 2030 - Skills, AI, Tech,” will be presented by Peter Firstbrook, Distinguished VP Analyst at Gartner. Guest keynote speakers include chef, restaurateur and humanitarian José Andrés, who will speak on “Creativity and Innovation for a Better Tomorrow” alongside Christopher Mixter, VP Analyst at Gartner. Naomi Bagdonas, executive advisor, bestselling author, and leading expert in the intersection of humor and business, will present “Leading with Levity: How to Harness the Competitive Advantage of Improv and Humor, Seriously.”
