He held senior technology roles at Barclays Capital, RBS, and VMware, and contributed to R3 Corda and We.Trade.
Childe will lead quantum-resistant security and secure-infrastructure work across Datavault AI's platforms.

He served as a Distinguished Engineer at HSBC, where he led the bank's blockchain and innovation initiatives, and held senior technology roles at Barclays Capital, The Royal Bank of Scotland and VMware. He later co-founded Arqit, a quantum-encryption company, and contributed to the development of enterprise platforms including R3 Corda and We.Trade. He is a published author on high-performance, grid, and distributed computing and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
