CrowdStrike announces the general availability of FalconID, extending its Falcon platform with zero-friction, phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA). FalconID delivers real-time, risk-aware protection against AI-accelerated phishing attacks and credential abuse directly at the point of authentication, advancing the shift from static, fragmented access controls to continuous, intelligent authorization.
CrowdStrike continues to redefine identity security by embedding intelligent, risk-aware controls into the core of the Falcon platform. Traditional MFA solutions often add friction while remaining blind to dynamic threats, frequently leading organizations to disable them or accept residual risk. FalconID resolves this by making authentication both seamless and continuously adaptive.
As adversaries leverage AI to scale highly convincing social engineering and bypass legacy MFA methods, the need for real-time, context-aware protection has become critical. FalconID uses the full breadth of Falcon telemetry—endpoint, identity, behavior, and threat intelligence—to determine authentication safety without interrupting legitimate users.
When risk certainty is high, access proceeds transparently. When signals indicate elevated threat (e.g., anomalous behavior, new device context, or emerging attack patterns), FalconID dynamically adjusts or blocks access, preventing compromise at the login stage.
