CLEAR and General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) have announced a strategic collaboration to deliver secure digital identity management and verification solutions for U.S. federal health and civilian agencies. The partnership combines CLEAR’s identity verification platform with GDIT’s federal systems integration expertise to help agencies improve secure access, fraud prevention, and identity management across mission-critical environments.
The collaboration reflects increasing government focus on modernizing digital identity infrastructure while strengthening security and reducing fraud across public sector services.
Under the agreement, CLEAR selected GDIT as its preferred federal systems integrator for deploying CLEAR1, the company’s secure identity platform, across complex federal mission environments.
The collaboration combines GDIT’s federal technology and mission expertise with CLEAR1’s identity verification capabilities to support agencies managing sensitive healthcare, civilian, and operational systems.
According to the companies, the partnership will focus on improving identity management processes for civilians, healthcare providers, and federal employees while enabling more secure and efficient access to digital services.
The companies will also collaborate through GDIT’s Emerge Labs innovation environment to develop identity-focused solutions tailored for government applications.
The partnership is designed to address multiple federal identity management challenges, including secure access to electronic records and reducing fraud, waste, and abuse across public sector systems.
GDIT has already integrated CLEAR1 into its hybrid multi-cloud products and tools program supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), demonstrating early deployment activity within federal healthcare infrastructure.
"Secure, trusted identity is foundational to how our government delivers healthcare and critical services," said Caryn Seidman Becker, CEO of CLEAR. "We're proud to combine CLEAR1's trusted identity platform with GDIT's deep expertise in federal health and civilian agencies. Together, this collaboration helps these agencies strengthen protection of sensitive information, reduce identity-driven fraud, and provide more reliable access to the programs that patients, providers and public servants depend on."
The companies stated that the collaboration aims to improve both security and user experience across federal digital identity workflows.
Federal agencies continue modernizing digital infrastructure while managing increasing cybersecurity risks and identity-related fraud concerns.
GDIT emphasized that the partnership supports its broader mission of helping government organizations deploy secure and user-friendly technology environments.
"We help our customers serve the public with confidence and security while providing a seamless user experience," said Amy Gilliland, GDIT president. "Our collaboration with CLEAR strengthens that commitment by enabling agencies to work smarter with modern identity tools that are seamless, trusted and widely applicable across the federal government."
CLEAR also highlighted its growing role as a government technology partner supporting digital identity verification initiatives designed to improve secure access and operational efficiency.
As public sector organizations continue investing in digital transformation and identity modernization, partnerships focused on secure identity verification, fraud prevention, and citizen access management are becoming increasingly important across federal IT and healthcare systems.
CLEAR, the secure identity company, focuses on strengthening security and creating frictionless experiences through its digital identity platform. With more than 41 million members and partnerships across multiple industries, the company provides identity verification solutions for travel, healthcare, and digital access use cases. CLEAR states that users remain in control of their personal information and that the company does not sell biometric or sensitive personal data.
