Bitdefender, a global cybersecurity leader, has appointed Gianluca Meomartini as Regional Vice President of Sales for Southern EMEA. With over 27 years of experience in multinational software and cybersecurity sales leadership, Meomartini will drive growth and deliver tailored, value-driven security strategies across Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Romania amid rising cyber threats, compliance demands, and digital sovereignty priorities.
Gianluca Meomartini joins Bitdefender’s leadership team as Regional Vice President of Sales for Southern EMEA, tasked with capitalizing on growing market opportunities in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Romania. His role involves leading sales teams to execute tailored strategies that address local business needs, evolving compliance requirements, and heightened demand for solutions prioritizing digital sovereignty and cyber resilience.
Meomartini brings more than two decades of proven sales leadership in the cybersecurity and enterprise software sectors. He has held senior positions at major multinational organizations including McAfee, Intel Security, and most recently Trellix, where he led pan-European sales teams. Throughout his career, he has consistently built high-performing organizations, crafted effective go-to-market strategies, and delivered sustainable growth by aligning advanced security solutions with customer business priorities. His results-driven approach, combined with strong relationship-building skills, positions him to deepen Bitdefender’s market presence and partner ecosystem in the region.
