Mutschler, who spent two decades in national leadership roles at Microsoft, will drive alliance strategy, expand the partner ecosystem, and accelerate co-sell revenue across the Microsoft Security portfolio.
Mutschler’s appointment comes as demand for specialized Microsoft Security implementation, AI readiness, and ecosystem-wide modernization reaches all-time highs. His proven track record leading large teams, building seller alignment, and delivering complex transformations positions Ascent to capture even greater market share in the fast-growing Microsoft Security practice.
In his new role, Mutschler will deepen field collaboration with Microsoft sales teams, expand the partner network, and drive higher-velocity new-logo acquisition while continuing Ascent’s reputation for technical excellence and measurable customer outcomes.
