The Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) landscape is evolving to meet the dual demands of artificial intelligence and a distributed workforce. Aryaka, a leader in unified SASE, has announced its Unified SASE as a Service 2.0 platform, introducing major new capabilities like AI>Secure for protecting generative AI applications and Universal Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) for securing hybrid workers.

Quick Intel

  • Aryaka launches Unified SASE as a Service 2.0 with new AI and security features.

  • AI>Secure protects against GenAI threats like prompt injection and shadow AI.

  • Universal ZTNA provides secure, identity-based access for remote workers.

  • The platform addresses the convergence of networking and security for AI adoption.

  • New features also include Next-Gen DLP and an operationalized threat research team.

  • SASE now represents over 40% of Aryaka's revenue, signaling strong market adoption.

Securing the AI-Driven Enterprise

A central theme of the 2.0 release is safeguarding the use of generative AI. The new AI>Secure capability is designed to protect enterprises from AI-specific risks, including unsanctioned "shadow AI" usage, knowledge leakage, and novel attacks like prompt injections and jailbreaks. It enforces content-safety controls and provides real-time monitoring for GenAI traffic, helping organizations innovate with AI safely. This feature is slated for availability in Q1 2026.

Enabling the Hybrid Workforce with Universal ZTNA

To secure a distributed workforce, Aryaka introduces Universal ZTNA. This feature provides consistent, identity and posture-based access control to any application from anywhere. It aims to replace complex legacy VPNs and siloed ZTNA solutions, reducing the risk of lateral movement and simplifying policy enforcement across the entire network. Universal ZTNA is available immediately.

“We’ve listened closely to customers over the past year... they need help safeguarding their GenAI apps and services [and] need to expand secure, high-performance network connectivity to the hybrid workforce,” said Renuka Nadkarni, Chief Product Officer at Aryaka. “Our Unified SASE as a Service 2.0 does both, without any trade-offs between networking and security.”

Additional Platform Enhancements

The 2.0 release includes several other significant upgrades. Next-Gen DLP leverages AI-powered natural language processing for advanced data loss prevention. The platform also operationalizes an in-house threat research team, whose real-time intelligence on emerging tactics fuels Aryaka's detection engines. A refreshed user interface, My Aryaka, provides improved visibility and streamlined management.

The launch comes at a time of significant business momentum for Aryaka, with SASE now accounting for over 40% of its revenue. By deeply integrating AI security and universal zero trust into its core SASE fabric, Aryaka is positioning its platform as an essential infrastructure for enterprises navigating the complexities of modern, AI-powered, and hybrid work environments.
