Acronis, global provider of AI-native cyber platform for MSPs and IT departments, today announced appointment of Hisao Toyama as General Manager of Acronis Japan K.K., effective September 15, 2026.
Veteran Channel and Partner Ecosystem Leader to Drive Growth and Expand Market Presence in Japan.
Toyama joined Acronis in June 2025 as Senior Director, overseeing company's distribution channels and key partner initiatives in Japan. Since joining company, he has played instrumental role in strengthening relationships with major distributors, expanding Acronis' partner ecosystem, and driving business growth in Japanese market.
As General Manager of Acronis Japan, Toyama will leverage deep experience in channel business and partner ecosystems to further strengthen collaboration with service providers and business partners while accelerating Acronis' growth and market expansion in Japan.

Prior to joining Acronis, Toyama served as Director of Partner Alliances at Workday K.K., Japanese subsidiary of Workday, where he led initiatives to expand company's partner ecosystem. Before that, he held leadership roles at Cisco Systems G.K., overseeing distributor sales operations and building strategic relationships with leading distributors and reseller partners.
Toyama continued, "As cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated and complex, it is more important than ever for organizations to manage data protection and cybersecurity in integrated and efficient manner while ensuring business continuity.
