Enterprise Shift Toward Hybrid Cloud Architectures

As enterprises face increasing demands around governance, data sovereignty, and industry-specific compliance, many are moving away from single-cloud strategies. Instead, organizations are adopting multi-cloud environments that provide greater flexibility and operational control.

DXC Private Cloud+ is positioned as a response to this shift, offering a unified cloud platform that bridges private and public cloud environments. The solution is designed to support modern enterprise workloads while enabling organizations to prepare for AI-driven applications and services.

A Unified Cloud Platform for Modern Workloads

Private Cloud+ is hosted in DXC data centers and orchestrated through DXC OASIS, enabling a centralized approach to managing enterprise infrastructure. The platform supports a broad range of workloads, including virtual machines, containers, data processing, backup systems, and private AI workloads.

By integrating infrastructure management and automation, the platform aims to reduce technical complexity and operational overhead. Enterprises also benefit from consumption-based pricing models that align costs with usage, improving financial predictability.

Built on DXC and Dell Long-Term Partnership

The solution is powered by Dell Technologies infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cyber resilience capabilities. DXC and Dell have maintained a partnership spanning over 25 years, jointly supporting more than 2,000 customers worldwide.

This collaboration underpins the design of Private Cloud+, which is positioned as a DXC Fast Track solution focused on AI-driven capabilities, automation, and enterprise-scale modernization.

Three Editions for Enterprise Flexibility

DXC Private Cloud+ is offered in three distinct editions to address varying enterprise requirements:

Core Edition
A multi-tenant private cloud environment that includes full platform capabilities with consumption-based pricing.

Dedicated Edition
A single-tenant deployment designed for organizations requiring full isolation of compute, storage, and data for sovereignty and compliance needs.

Government Edition
A hardened infrastructure model with enhanced security controls and operations managed by cleared personnel, built for government and highly regulated industries.

Enabling AI-Ready Infrastructure

The platform is designed to support enterprises preparing for increased AI workload adoption. By combining private cloud control with hybrid cloud flexibility, DXC aims to reduce infrastructure friction and accelerate time to production for new applications.

Executives at DXC emphasized that Private Cloud+ removes operational burdens through DXC OASIS, allowing enterprises to focus on innovation rather than infrastructure management.

Conclusion

DXC Private Cloud+ represents a strategic step in addressing the growing complexity of enterprise cloud environments. By combining hybrid cloud flexibility, strong governance controls, and AI readiness, the platform is positioned to support organizations navigating modernization, compliance requirements, and increasing AI adoption across industries.
