CloudBolt Software, a leader in cloud cost optimization and hybrid cloud management, has announced it has signed a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This agreement formalizes and expands the companies' joint efforts to help enterprises improve how they build, manage, and optimize workloads on AWS, aiming to enhance operational efficiency, governance, and agility across hybrid and multi-cloud operations.

  • CloudBolt signs a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS.

  • The agreement formalizes joint sales, technical, and go-to-market efforts.

  • Focus areas include cloud cost optimization, Kubernetes rightsizing with StormForge, and governance.

  • CloudBolt participates in the AWS ISV Accelerate Program for co-selling.

  • Streamlined procurement is available via AWS Marketplace for easier adoption.

  • The collaboration aims to help customers accelerate insights and reduce cloud waste.

Deepening Integration and Go-to-Market Alignment

The SCA represents a significant commitment beyond a standard partnership. It strengthens collaboration across sales and leadership teams, with CloudBolt participating in the AWS ISV Accelerate Program. This co-sell program is designed to drive customer adoption of CloudBolt's solutions that run on and integrate with AWS services. The agreement also streamlines procurement, allowing customers to acquire and scale CloudBolt's technology directly through the AWS Marketplace, simplifying licensing and deployment.

Optimizing Across Cloud and Kubernetes Environments

The collaboration spans traditional cloud infrastructure and containerized environments. CloudBolt's core platform provides FinOps tooling and cloud management to optimize AWS spending and governance. Additionally, its StormForge technology, which specializes in AI/ML-driven Kubernetes optimization, complements AWS container services by intelligently rightsizing clusters. This dual focus aims to deliver continuous optimization—reducing waste in virtual machine instances and improving performance and efficiency for containerized applications at scale.

Supporting Evolving Enterprise Priorities

The multi-year agreement aligns CloudBolt's product roadmap with key AWS initiatives and emerging enterprise priorities, such as AI-driven automation and broader infrastructure modernization. By deepening technical integration and joint customer engagements, the collaboration is structured to help organizations achieve faster time-to-value, turning cloud insights into actionable optimization more rapidly and with stronger operational governance.

“This SCA deepens our collaboration with AWS to help teams build faster, operate with stronger governance, and optimize at scale across both traditional and containerized workloads,” said Brendan Dolan, Chief Financial Officer at CloudBolt Software. “We’re focused on practical improvements that simplify operations and improve efficiency.”

The Strategic Collaboration Agreement between CloudBolt and AWS signals a maturation of the cloud optimization market. It underscores the growing enterprise requirement for integrated tools that provide not just visibility, but also automated action and governance across increasingly complex hybrid and containerized cloud estates, with the backing of a validated partnership with a major hyperscaler.
