The POC compared Avid NEXIS Cloud Storage in AWS, utilizing high-performance EBS storage, against two competitors: a direct S3-compatible cloud object storage solution and a file streaming solution with smart cache and S3 storage. Avid NEXIS emerged as the top performer, completing rendering and proxy file creation 47% faster than Competitor #1 and 28% faster than Competitor #2. This efficiency, cutting job times by 40 seconds to 15 minutes, highlights its ability to meet the demands of modern post-production workflows.
