Runpod, the AI Developer Cloud, today announced new capabilities aimed at scaling its enterprise business, including organizational governance capabilities, SSO/SAML, group management, and cost-center billing, alongside ISO/IEC 27001 certification.

Announced in San Francisco, as enterprises move AI from experiments into core operations, Runpod Enterprise extends its AI Developer Cloud under a single enterprise agreement backed by enterprise-grade governance, building on momentum from over 1 million developers.

Quick Intel

  • Runpod expands enterprise platform with governance controls, SSO/SAML, and ISO 27001 certification.
  • Adds Organizations, group management, cost-center billing, and Billing Explorer with post-paid invoicing.
  • Unifies Pods, serverless inference, and dedicated GPU clusters onto one platform without replatforming.
  • Processes more than 10M serverless inference requests daily; 1M+ developers including Sony, Toyota, Intel.
  • Offers 30+ GPU configurations across 32 regions with reserved capacity, SLAs, and technical account managers.
  • Builds on SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA support with BAAs, and GDPR support with DPAs.

Enterprise-Grade Governance for Full-Lifecycle AI Development

As enterprises move AI from experiments into core operations, they shouldn't have to choose between the cloud their developers picked and the cloud their business can stand behind. Runpod Enterprise is both: the same platform, with reserved capacity, org-wide admin controls, and a contract behind it.

Under a single enterprise agreement backed by enterprise-grade governance, Runpod Enterprise unifies Pods, serverless inference, and dedicated GPU clusters onto one platform, allowing teams to seamlessly build, fine-tune, and scale workloads from initial research to multi-node production without ever replatforming or stitching together fragmented point solutions. This release reinforces Runpod's role as the complete, end-to-end cloud platform across the AI lifecycle.

"Enterprise AI teams have moved beyond single-purpose inference tools. They need dependable compute across the full path from development to production," said Zhen Lu, CEO and Co-founder of Runpod. "For many customers, Runpod is already becoming the platform where they build and run custom AI systems - combining dependable compute with software that improves the performance and economics of production workloads. Runpod Enterprise builds on that role with guaranteed capacity, flexible access across GPU SKUs, clear reliability commitments, and the governance controls teams need to run production AI at scale."

New Governance, Spend Controls and Certifications

New this quarter:

Organizations and governance: Hierarchical, company-owned accounts; SSO/SAML for Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Auth0, Google Workspace, and Duo; identity-provider group mapping; and five built-in roles.

Spend visibility and control: Cost-center chargeback tagging, organization-wide Billing Explorer, and post-paid invoicing.

ISO/IEC 27001 certification: Joining Runpod's existing SOC 2 Type II report, HIPAA support with BAAs, and GDPR support with DPAs.

Today's announcement builds on Runpod's foundation of production-ready infrastructure, including reserved and dedicated capacity across 30+ GPU configurations and 32 regions, with publicly reported region-level uptime. Customers also have contractual SLAs, named technical account managers and transparent incident communication.

Runpod has rapidly established itself as a foundational platform for the modern AI stack, processing more than 10 million serverless inference requests a day. More than one million developers at companies of all sizes trust Runpod for AI development: major global enterprises (Sony, Toyota, Intel), premier academic institutions (Columbia University, Cornell University, UCLA), and high-growth AI companies including Deep Cogito, Rendair, and Nodalview. Supported by its recent $100M Series A investment, Runpod's continued enterprise expansion ensures companies never have to choose between developer speed and corporate operational rigor.

Runpod's self-serve platform remains open to any developer today; enterprise customers can move from self-serve usage into a formal enterprise agreement, with Organizations, SSO, and governance controls rolling out to enterprise accounts through September.
