Circus SE, a global leader in AI-powered robotics for autonomous nutrition systems, announced on September 8, 2025, the successful completion of its first fourth-generation CA-1 AI robot at its newly established high-volume production facility. With several additional units already in parallel production, this milestone, achieved just six months after factory setup, underscores Circus’ ability to industrialize advanced AI-robotics at unprecedented speed.

Quick Intel

  • Circus SE completes first CA-1 AI robot in new high-volume facility.

  • Production began six months after factory setup, with thousands of units planned annually.

  • Each CA-1 undergoes 150+ precision tests for enterprise-grade reliability.

  • Partners with Celestica (NYSE: CLS) for global manufacturing expertise.

  • CA-1 consists of over 29,000 components, comparable to a small car.

  • Plans for CA-M military robot production to start in 2026.

Scaling Autonomous Nutrition with CA-1

The CA-1, Circus SE’s flagship autonomous food production robot, is now in serial production, marking the dawn of the “era of autonomous nutrition,” according to Nikolas Bullwinkel, CEO and Founder. “This step proves that Circus can not only design breakthrough technology but also scale it to industrial production at the highest quality levels,” Bullwinkel said. The modular production facility combines scalability and agility, ensuring each CA-1 undergoes over 150 precision tests to meet enterprise-grade standards akin to the automotive industry.

Strategic Partnership with Celestica

Circus SE’s collaboration with Celestica (NYSE: CLS) leverages industry-leading expertise in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management to enable a seamless transition from prototype to high-volume production. “With our validated setup, we are ready to deliver thousands of units per year and scale with global demand,” said Haomiao Fang, VP Hardware Engineering at Circus. This partnership ensures robust scalability for the CA-1’s 29,000+ components, positioning Circus to meet growing market needs.

Future Expansion and CA-M Development

Following the successful industrialization of the CA-1, Circus SE is preparing to bring its CA-M robot, designed for defense and military applications, into high-volume production starting in 2026. The company is exploring additional production facilities across Europe and the US to support its expanding portfolio and global demand.

Circus SE’s rapid production milestone reinforces its leadership in AI-powered robotics, setting the stage for transformative advancements in autonomous nutrition and defense systems.
