Multiverse Computing Raises $570M to Scale Efficient AI Platform

Multiverse Computing has announced a $570 million Series C funding round at a $1.7 billion pre-money valuation, marking one of the largest funding rounds in the efficient AI sector. The investment will support the expansion of the company's AI compression technology, CompactifAI, accelerate global growth, and strengthen its sovereign AI infrastructure capabilities.

$570 Million Investment Accelerates Efficient AI Strategy

The Series C round was co-led by Forgepoint Capital International, BNPP Solar Impulse Venture Fund (BNPP SIVF), and Bullhound Capital, with participation from investors including Santander Alternative Investments, Tikehau Capital, HP Inc., Orange Ventures, Scania Invest, National Bank of Canada's NAventures, Qatar Development Bank, Zouk Capital, SETT, EIC Fund, the Basque Government's Hazten Scale-Up Fund, and Kutxa Fundazioa.

Advised by J.P. Morgan and Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, the financing is expected to bring Multiverse Computing's total funding to approximately $800 million, with the round remaining open to select strategic investors.

CompactifAI Targets More Efficient AI Deployment

At the center of Multiverse Computing's platform is CompactifAI, an AI model compression technology that applies tensor networks, a mathematical framework originating from quantum physics, to reduce the size of large language models.

Developed under the leadership of Dr. Román Orús, Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer, the technology compresses LLMs by 80% to 95% while maintaining comparable performance.

The result enables AI models to operate more efficiently across smartphones, enterprise infrastructure, on-premises environments, factory floors, and sovereign data centers while reducing GPU requirements and energy consumption.

Building AI Beyond the Data Center

Since completing its Series B financing in June 2025, Multiverse Computing has increased its annualized revenue by more than 10x while recording 96x year-over-year sales growth during Q1 2026.

Its AI models are already deployed across millions of devices, including drones, satellites, cameras, vehicles, telecom infrastructure, and future AI PCs.

The company serves customers across manufacturing, finance, energy, aerospace, cybersecurity, defense, healthcare, and life sciences, including Allianz, Bank of Canada, Bosch, Iberdrola, Indra, PwC, and Telefónica.

The new funding will support continued AI research, expansion of CompactifAI models, investments in sovereign AI infrastructure, and regional growth across East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Canada, and the United States.
