S&P Global has rolled out new integrations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that allow enterprises to query complex market, financial, and energy questions through AI agents and receive accurate, real-time answers sourced directly from S&P Global data - all within their existing AWS environments.
The integrations leverage two new MCP server connections to Amazon Quick Suite, giving joint customers seamless access to S&P Global’s authoritative datasets. Organizations can now enrich their internal AI workflows with high-quality financial statements, earnings call transcripts from S&P Global Market Intelligence, and real-time commodity and energy market intelligence from S&P Global Energy.
This development eliminates data silos and enables financial professionals, analysts, and energy traders to retrieve trusted intelligence without switching platforms or compromising on data lineage and security.
Bhavesh Dayalji, Chief AI Officer of S&P Global and CEO of Kensho, emphasized the importance of meeting customers where they work:
"We are excited to collaborate with AWS to bring S&P Global's data to customers through the next generation of agentic AI experiences. Our goal is to ensure customers can access our trusted data wherever their workflows take place, whether through cloud platforms, LLMs, or AI agents, enabling greater flexibility and innovation across industries."
Scott Mullins, Managing Director of Worldwide Financial Services at AWS, highlighted the value for the financial sector:
"Bringing S&P Global's data to Amazon Quick Suite enables financial professionals to harness the power of agentic AI and trusted market, financial, and energy intelligence directly in their workflows. This integration reflects our shared vision to deliver access to financial intelligence through advanced AI capabilities, together with the security, resiliency, and reliability required when working with mission-critical data and AI-driven insights."
By embedding S&P Global content deeper into the AWS ecosystem, both companies are accelerating the adoption of agentic AI solutions that require verified, high-fidelity data inputs for accurate decision-making across capital markets and energy trading.
These launches reinforce S&P Global’s strategy to remain the preferred data provider for generative AI and agentic AI applications, supporting everything from LLM performance enhancement to streamlined enterprise workflows.
