Nota AI announced on July 30, 2025, that it received preliminary approval for a KOSDAQ listing from the Korea Exchange, just two months after filing. This swift approval, despite tightened IPO regulations in 2025, highlights Nota AI’s robust technological and commercial viability, reinforced by its “A•A” rating in Korea’s technology evaluation in December 2024. “This fast-track approval, amid today’s rigorous IPO environment, demonstrates that Nota AI is more than just a promising startup—we’re a globally recognized company with proven technology and business impact,” said Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI. The company, with Mirae Asset Securities as the lead underwriter, aims to complete its IPO in the second half of 2025.
At the heart of Nota AI’s success is its proprietary NetsPresso® platform, which automates AI model optimization for efficient deployment on resource-constrained edge devices. This technology reduces operational costs and has been commercialized through partnerships with industry giants like NVIDIA, Samsung Electronics, Qualcomm, Arm, Sony, and Renesas. The platform supports applications in industrial safety, surveillance, and intelligent transportation systems, showcasing its versatility. Additionally, Nota AI’s Nota Vision Agent (NVA), powered by a proprietary Vision Language Model, enables advanced video monitoring, including real-time event detection and automated reporting, further solidifying its market position.
Nota AI has scaled rapidly, establishing offices in Germany (2020) and the United States (2022), and expanding into the Middle East, Japan, and Southeast Asia. A landmark achievement was its April 2025 supply agreement with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, making it the first Korean company to deliver a generative AI solution to a Middle Eastern government agency. With a revenue growth of nearly tenfold over the past five years and a projected 72% year-over-year increase in 2025, Nota AI demonstrates strong commercial scalability. The IPO proceeds will fuel further R&D and global market expansion, aiming to set a new standard in AI optimization.
Nota AI’s KOSDAQ approval positions it as the first AI optimization company to list on the exchange, affirming its leadership in on-device AI. By leveraging its NetsPresso® platform and strategic partnerships, Nota AI is set to drive AI adoption across industries, enhancing efficiency and innovation worldwide.
