The launch builds on AWS's recent $1 billion investment in its Forward Deployed Engineering organization, which places engineering teams directly inside customer environments to develop production-ready AI solutions. Innovative Solutions becomes the first AWS Premier Tier Services Partner to introduce a dedicated partner-led Forward Deployed Engineering model for mid-market and enterprise customers without direct access to AWS FDE resources.
Forward Deployed Services is structured around three engagement models that support organizations at different stages of AI and cloud adoption.
The Forward Deployed AI Assessment provides a fixed-price engagement where an embedded engineer evaluates an organization's AI readiness, identifies high-impact use cases, and develops a proof of concept using the customer's own data.
The Forward Deployed POD (Product-Oriented Delivery) focuses on deploying a production AI workflow or cloud solution within the customer's environment. An optional Outcome Accelerator aligns compensation with successful project delivery.
The Forward Deployed Services (FDS) model provides ongoing embedded engineering support through a monthly retainer. Engineers continue optimizing AI and cloud environments using Innovative Solutions' managed AI services platform, with incentives tied to achieving cost-efficiency and performance improvements.

The service is available immediately, with AWS MAP credits and Strategic Collaboration Agreement funding available to help eligible customers offset implementation costs.
