The application of agentic artificial intelligence is set to transform the complex world of supply chain management. Infios, a global leader in intelligent supply chain execution, has announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to integrate generative AI agents into its core Order Management system, aiming to set a new standard for intelligent, self-optimizing supply chain execution.

  • Infios collaborates with AWS to integrate generative AI agents into its supply chain software.

  • The partnership leverages the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, Amazon Bedrock, and Strands Agents.

  • The AI agents will proactively detect and resolve fulfillment anomalies and predict delivery times.

  • The goal is to simplify workflow orchestration and make order management more predictable.

  • New AI-driven workflows are set to launch in early 2026.

  • The collaboration aims to help businesses dynamically adapt to market changes and disruptions.

Reengineering Supply Chain Execution with AI

The collaboration focuses on Infios Order Management (Infios OM), which the company describes as the "brain of the supply chain." Together with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, Infios is embedding intelligent agents to move beyond simple orchestration to proactive, intelligent execution. These agents will be capable of autonomously handling complex tasks such as proactively detecting and resolving anomalies during fulfillment, rebalancing orders across distribution networks, and predicting delivery times before issues arise, thereby increasing the precision of order management.

Key Workflows and Expected Impact

The joint initiative has identified specific opportunities for agentic automation designed to simplify operations for users. The new AI-driven workflows will simplify the onboarding and configuration of complex supply chain processes. They will also generate visual representations of workflows that experts can review and refine, making system configuration more intuitive. Furthermore, the system will provide proactive anomaly detection and automatically recommend optimal outcomes, enabling businesses like third-party logistics (3PL) providers, retailers, and distributors to stay ahead of supply and demand disruptions.

“Together with AWS, we’re redefining what order management can do for customers,” said Eugene Amigud, Chief Innovation Officer at Infios. “We’re building intelligent agents that now proactively detect and resolve anomalies... The result is that our customers will have simplified workflow orchestration to make every order more predictable, every decision more intelligent and every fulfillment flow more connected.”

"Infios is taking a bold step in turning orchestration into intelligence," said Taimur Rashid, managing director of generative AI innovation and delivery at AWS. "Together, we're laying the groundwork for workflows that learn, adapt and execute with the speed and intelligence modern supply chains demand."

This partnership signifies a major step towards creating supply chains that are not only efficient but also adaptive and resilient, capable of evolving as fast as the markets they serve.
