Hebbia, a leading AI platform for finance, has acquired FlashDocs, a generative AI solution for slide deck creation. This acquisition extends Hebbia’s capabilities beyond information retrieval and agentic workflows to include content generation, enhancing end-to-end automation for financial professionals.

Quick Intel

  • Hebbia acquires FlashDocs to bolster AI-driven workflow automation.

  • FlashDocs automates 10,000+ slides daily for enterprise clients.

  • Acquisition adds generative AI for memos, reports, and slide decks.

  • FlashDocs team to lead Hebbia’s API business and artifact generation.

  • Enhances Hebbia’s platform for finance, legal, and consulting sectors.

  • Supports clients like KKR, MetLife, and the U.S. Air Force.

Expanding AI Capabilities

Founded in 2024 by Morten Bruun and Adam Khakhar, FlashDocs transforms large language model prompts into enterprise-quality presentations in seconds. Currently automating over 10,000 slides daily for AI and enterprise companies, FlashDocs strengthens Hebbia’s platform by enabling rapid content generation. “We admire what the Hebbia team has built and its vision to power the next generation of knowledge work,” said Morten Bruun, CEO and co-founder of FlashDocs. “Joining forces lets us offer a powerful AI platform to analyze, iterate, and create all in one place.”

Streamlining Financial Workflows

Presentation creation remains a time-intensive task in finance, consulting, and strategy. FlashDocs addresses this by automating the creation of branded, client-ready artifacts like memos, reports, and slide decks. “The future of AI is about automating end-to-end workflows,” said Adam Khakhar, CTO and co-founder of FlashDocs. “Now Hebbia is not just surfacing insights but generating the final outputs that matter most in finance: investment memos, board decks, diligence summaries.” This capability reduces hours of formatting and design to seconds, enhancing efficiency.

Enhancing Hebbia’s Platform

Hebbia serves professionals in finance, legal, and consulting, automating tasks like due diligence, M&A analysis, and contract review for clients such as KKR, MetLife, and the U.S. Air Force. The acquisition of FlashDocs adds robust content generation and API capabilities, enabling Hebbia to power downstream workflows across financial enterprises. The FlashDocs team will lead Hebbia’s API business and artifact generation efforts, further integrating these capabilities into the platform.

Vision for AI Innovation

Hebbia aims to build the world’s most capable AI platform, surpassing human performance in complex tasks. “We are building the world’s most capable AI platform–agents that are better than humans at any task–and automating artifact generation is the next step,” said George Sivulka, CEO and founder of Hebbia. “With this acquisition, we’re moving further and further beyond chatbots, and one step closer to realizing AI’s full potential.” This move positions Hebbia as a leader in AI-driven automation for knowledge work.

The acquisition of FlashDocs marks a pivotal step for Hebbia in transforming financial workflows. By integrating generative AI for content creation, Hebbia enhances its platform’s value, delivering seamless, efficient solutions for enterprise clients across industries.
