Runway, a leader in generative AI for video and creative tools, has signed a contract with CoreWeave to leverage its specialized AI cloud infrastructure for scaling and accelerating its next-generation video generation models. This strategic partnership will provide Runway with the high-performance computing resources needed to advance its research and serve a broadening range of industries, from filmmaking to autonomous systems.
Runway has selected CoreWeave as its AI cloud provider to power its next-generation video generation models.
CoreWeave will provide access to its NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems for large-scale AI training and inference.
Runway will utilize CoreWeave AI Object Storage and W&B Models for observability and global data access.
The partnership aims to accelerate Runway's research and productization for filmmaking, gaming, robotics, and life sciences.

Runway is recognized for its state-of-the-art AI models that generate and edit images, video, audio, and 3D worlds from simple prompts. Its tools are used by major film studios, gaming companies, and developers in fields like robotics and autonomous driving. This partnership with CoreWeave is designed to provide the robust, scalable foundation required to push the boundaries of these complex models.

The agreement grants Runway access to CoreWeave's integrated suite of AI-optimized solutions. This includes high-throughput GPU performance via NVIDIA's latest systems, coupled with CoreWeave AI Object Storage—a service that provides global, fee-free data accessibility crucial for large-scale AI workloads. Runway will also leverage W&B Models for full observability across its training and inference workloads.
