Graft was known for bringing to market the first comprehensive AI platform for foundation models, including LLMs. Their flagship product, the "Intelligence Layer," specializes in operationalizing these models over diverse, multimodal data. This layer is crucial for connecting internal corporate documents, databases, and knowledge bases directly to AI models. By simplifying the application of these advanced technologies, the platform enabled companies to build production-grade solutions for generative, predictive, and structured analytics use cases, making AI adoption scalable even for teams with limited machine learning expertise.
The move brings key talent to the You.com team:
Adam Oliner, PhD (Graft's Co-Founder & CEO) joins as Field CTO, focusing on accelerating You.com’s enterprise growth and AI search platform. He has previous experience leading Machine Learning teams at Slack and Splunk.
Eric Schkufza, PhD (Graft’s Co-Founder) joins as a Senior Principal Engineer. He was previously a Principal Scientist at Amazon, where he contributed to the infrastructure for Amazon's first internal proprietary LLM.
