Introducing Engaging On-Device AI Capabilities

A key focus of the conference was the introduction of four innovative on-device AI functionalities. These features are designed to integrate intelligence directly into the user experience. The Pet Companion, for instance, introduces an interactive AI pet on the home screen that performs actions like eating and sleeping, while also providing practical functions like step counts and weather reminders. The Shopping Assistant helps users efficiently discover products, using on-device AI to identify items, find similar products, and claim coupons with a single tap.

Strengthening an Open and Sustainable Ecosystem

Beyond specific AI tools, Xiaomi highlighted significant expansions across its broader ecosystem. In gaming, joint operations have attracted over 450 in-app purchase titles, achieving 90% annual revenue growth. Enhancements to the Minicard feature are streamlining app distribution on the GetApps store. The company also detailed its OEM native advertising framework and the all-in-one Xiaomi ADS platform, which uses a proprietary ROAS algorithm to help partners optimize campaign performance. Qiang Song, General Manager of Xiaomi IIB, stated, "Through continuous innovation and deep collaboration, we are building an open and sustainable internet ecosystem for all by empowering users and partners with our AI capabilities."
