WRITER's native integration with Amazon Bedrock allows its enterprise customers to directly deploy a wide variety of leading foundation models, including custom-trained ones, within the WRITER platform. This provides flexibility while leveraging Amazon Bedrock's security and AWS's infrastructure. The integration also connects Amazon Bedrock Guardrails with WRITER's observability tools, aiming to deliver a unified governance layer for agents regardless of the underlying model chosen.
To address enterprise trust and control concerns, WRITER unveiled a new supervision and orchestration suite. This acts as a central control center, providing IT teams with tools to approve agents before deployment and continuously supervise them in production. Key features include detailed visibility into user and agent behaviors for compliance, centralized agent approval, global guardrails to prevent misuse, and interoperability with existing security and observability platforms.
These new supervision capabilities are embedded directly within WRITER's AI Studio, the same no-code/pro-code environment where business users build and deploy agents. This design aims to bring IT and business teams into a connected workflow, ensuring compliance and visibility are maintained in real-time without hindering development speed. “By bringing together IT and business users in the same connected environment, WRITER ensures every agent... remains compliant and visible,” the company stated.
The overarching goal is to overcome the trust barrier that hinders widespread agent adoption in large organizations. By combining model flexibility through AWS with robust, native supervision tools, WRITER positions its platform as a secure foundation for scalable agentic AI. “CIOs need to know they can unleash business innovation without losing control,” said WRITER CEO May Habib.
