Workato has launched production-ready Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure that enables organizations to move AI agents from pilot to full production deployment. The initial release includes eight pre-built servers across key business functions, with plans to deliver over 100 servers throughout the year. By eliminating months of custom integration work, Workato closes the critical infrastructure gap that has kept most enterprise AI initiatives trapped in pilot phase despite heavy investment.
Despite widespread AI investment, most enterprises remain stuck in pilot purgatory because AI agents lack secure, production-ready access to business systems and context. Anthropic’s 2024 MCP standard defined the protocol, but production deployment requires hardened infrastructure that individual SaaS vendors cannot provide consistently. Google Calendar: Schedule meetings, check availability, block focus time, and manage events.
Google Sheets: Read data, append rows, update cells atomically, and perform advanced operations.
Google Directory: Find colleagues, retrieve profiles, and access organizational context.
GitHub: Explore repositories, manage issues and pull requests, search code, and review commit history.
Gong: Retrieve call history, access transcripts, and pull meeting context for preparation.
Slack: Search conversations, retrieve channel history, post messages, create canvases, and reply to threads.
Jira: Search, create, and update issues using natural language while respecting workflows and permissions.
Okta: People discovery, identity resolution, group membership lookup, and related identity functions.
These servers integrate seamlessly with Workato’s orchestration engine, enabling complex, multi-system workflows governed by enterprise policies without custom coding.
