  • Virtualitics awarded SBIR Phase II contract by AFGSC.
  • Focuses on AI-driven optimization for RSP mobilization.
  • Part of Integrated Readiness Optimization (IRO) Materiel suite.
  • Optimizes inventory storage and movement with AI constraints.
  • Generates real-time, illustrated packing guides for deployment.
  • Enhances operational efficiency in contested logistics environments.

Advancing RSP Mobilization with AI

The Virtualitics Integrated Readiness Optimization (IRO) Materiel product leverages AI-based constraint optimization to streamline RSP mobilization, a critical component of AFGSC’s ACE strategy. The solution optimizes how parts and equipment are palletized for global deployment, maximizing container volume while adhering to weight and safety constraints. It dynamically generates step-by-step illustrated packing guides that adapt to real-time operational demands, reducing packing time and boosting efficiency. As Michael Amori, CEO of Virtualitics, states, “Virtualitics continues to deepen our partnership with the AFGSC, delivering new AI capabilities that enhance the AFGSC’s operational readiness.”

Building on Phase I Success

Selected competitively based on its successful Phase I contract, Virtualitics’ IRO Materiel suite addresses real-world mission challenges by incorporating direct feedback from AFGSC personnel. This collaboration ensures the technology identifies efficiency gaps and meets stringent warehousing and safety requirements. The Phase II contract enables further development of these capabilities, solidifying Virtualitics’ contribution to materiel readiness in contested logistics environments.

Trusted AI Partnership

This contract marks Virtualitics’ third SBIR award with AFGSC in less than a year, highlighting its growing influence in defense innovation. “Our success is built on a deep collaboration with AFGSC personnel, ensuring that our AI products not only directly address real-world mission challenges but also identify efficiency gaps,” Amori adds. By integrating airmen feedback and leveraging a decade of Caltech research, Virtualitics delivers mission-driven, explainable AI solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and support rapid deployment.

Virtualitics’ SBIR Phase II contract underscores its commitment to advancing U.S. Air Force readiness through AI-driven logistics optimization. By enhancing RSP mobilization with real-time adaptability and precision, Virtualitics strengthens AFGSC’s ability to execute agile combat employment, ensuring mission success in dynamic and contested environments.
