This latest integration moves beyond occupancy reporting by helping workplace leaders forecast future space requirements using artificial intelligence rather than relying solely on historical utilization data.
The latest announcement builds on two previous integrations between VergeSense and Microsoft Places.
The first integration introduced real-time occupancy intelligence to reduce ghost bookings and improve workspace availability. A second integration simplified workplace management by enabling VergeSense floor plans to be converted into Microsoft's IMDF format for seamless synchronization.
The newest enhancement extends those capabilities by enabling predictive workplace planning directly within existing enterprise workflows.
Through the expanded integration, organizations can export existing Microsoft Places floor plans directly into VergeSense Predictive Planning, removing manual implementation steps while providing immediate access to AI-driven workplace insights.

The predictive capabilities are powered by VergeSense's Large Spatial Model, which has been trained on more than eight years of workplace behavior across over 250 million square feet of enterprise office space.
By combining Microsoft's workplace data with VergeSense's AI models, organizations gain deeper visibility into current workplace usage while forecasting future occupancy and space requirements.
