The combined platform addresses a common enterprise divide by providing Finance teams with Vena's familiar, Excel-native FP&A capabilities and giving IT teams Acterys' tools for building operational applications and analytics within Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. This shared, trusted environment within the Microsoft stack allows both functions to build, extend, and operationalize real-time planning and scenario modeling at scale, using the tools they already trust.
By merging Vena's financial planning strengths with Acterys' operational planning and app development engine, the new entity aims to deliver a unified experience. Finance gains deeper operational insights, while IT can connect financial models to purpose-built applications.
