UiPath, a leader in agentic automation, has integrated its UiPath Platform with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, enabling orchestration of business-critical workflows using UiPath and Azure agents. This collaboration extends bi-directional integrations with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio via Model Context Protocol (MCP), providing process owners with trust, transparency, and governance for scalable AI deployment.
The integration allows UiPath agents to interact with Azure AI Foundry agents and models, automating complex processes while maintaining security. “Enterprises don’t just need AI. A key example is an agent-led process for detecting incidental findings in medical imaging, which can lead to delayed care if missed. UiPath AI agents analyze past and current imaging, flag issues, generate reports, and route them to physicians for timely intervention, improving patient outcomes and reducing costs.
