UiPath has become the first enterprise automation platform to earn AIUC-1 certification, an independent standard verifying the security and reliability of AI agents in production environments. Conducted by Schellman, this certification confirms that UiPath’s AI agents—including those in Intelligent Extraction Processing (IXP), Agents, and Autopilot—meet rigorous requirements for data protection, operational boundaries, attack resistance, and error prevention.
As enterprises increasingly deploy AI agents to handle sensitive and complex workflows, trust in security, governance, and reliability becomes essential. UiPath’s AIUC-1 achievement provides independent, third-party validation that its platform delivers controlled, secure agentic automation.

UiPath subjected its full suite of AI products to extensive third-party testing across more than 2,000 enterprise risk scenarios. The process evaluated how agents protect data, remain within defined operational boundaries, resist sophisticated attacks, and prevent errors in production use cases.
The certification is not a one-time event; it includes mandatory quarterly evaluations to maintain compliance as AI capabilities advance and new threats emerge.
