Unsere Grüne Glasfaser (UGG), a Telefónica-Allianz joint venture, has selected Aria Systems’ Billing Cloud, ServiceNow CRM, and Tenon Marketing Automation to enhance its wholesale fiber operations in Germany. This integrated SaaS-based Business Support System (BSS) suite modernizes billing, customer relationship management, and marketing to support UGG’s rapid growth and connectivity goals.
On September 4, 2025, Aria Systems announced that UGG, a leading wholesale fiber optic network operator in Germany, has chosen its AI-powered Billing Cloud alongside ServiceNow CRM and Tenon Marketing Automation to form a comprehensive SaaS-based BSS suite. This solution addresses UGG’s need for scalable, automated systems following its October 2024 acquisition of Infrafibre Germany and new agreements with municipalities and ISPs. The integrated platform streamlines billing, customer management, and marketing, enabling UGG to manage complex usage-based invoices and support its goal of connecting 2 million premises.
Aria’s Billing Cloud provides UGG with advanced billing automation, replacing slow, legacy systems with agile, data-driven processes. Integrated with ServiceNow CRM, the solution streamlines enterprise customer revenue and service operations, ensuring seamless management of the customer lifecycle. Markus Keller, Director of IT at UGG, stated, “The best-of-breed combination of Aria, Tenon, and ServiceNow gives us a modern, scalable SaaS BSS platform that can grow with our business.” This integration supports UGG’s expansion while maintaining operational efficiency.
Tenon, a marketing automation platform built on ServiceNow, enhances UGG’s ability to orchestrate campaigns, segment audiences, and nurture leads. Combined with ServiceNow’s AI-driven insights, the solution enables UGG to deliver personalized customer experiences and resolve issues faster. Romit Ghose, Head of Product, Telecom & Media Industries at ServiceNow, noted, “The Aria, ServiceNow CRM, and Tenon solution helps generate high-value AI insights by connecting data, people, and processes to orchestrate complexities across marketing, sales, fulfillment, and service.” This fosters trust and supports UGG’s growth in rural broadband connectivity.
The partnership aligns with UGG’s mission to deliver world-class fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) connectivity to underserved rural areas. The recent Infrafibre acquisition and new ISP agreements have accelerated UGG’s need for modernized systems. Tom Dibble, President & CEO of Aria Systems, stated, “This win further deepens Aria’s presence in the telecommunications industry and underscores the value of our ServiceNow partnership for CSPs.” The integrated BSS suite positions UGG for potential retail expansion while enhancing operational agility and customer-centricity.
This strategic collaboration equips UGG with a robust, AI-driven platform to scale its wholesale fiber operations and deliver superior connectivity across Germany. By leveraging Aria, ServiceNow, and Tenon, UGG is well-positioned to meet growing demand and drive long-term customer loyalty.
Aria enables enterprises to automate complex usage and subscription billing models in an agile market environment. Aria Billing Cloud, which incorporates predictive and generative AI to help enterprises scale productivity and personalization, is top-rated by leading research firms. CSPs like TalkTalk Business, M1 Singapore, Telstra, and Liberty Latin America, as well as innovative enterprises including Arlo, Comcast, Experian, and Subaru, depend on Aria to accelerate ideation, become customer centric, and grow recurring revenues.
